Hegel’s perspective on Bureaucracy

One of the influential thinkers who acknowledged bureaucracy as the main governing organisation in the modern State was G.W Friedrich Hegel. In his Philosophy of Right, published in 1821, he deliberates about how liberal States can be organised. and endorses the role of civil service as an essential element of government.
