The Livelihood Business Incubator (LBI) is an institutional mechanism designed to promote sustainable livelihoods by nurturing micro and small enterprises, particularly in rural and semi-urban areas. It operates with the objective of transforming traditional skills, local resources, and innovative ideas into viable business ventures that generate employment and income. The incubator also aims to promote inclusive growth by focusing on women, youth, socially disadvantaged groups, and backward regions, thereby ensuring equitable distribution of economic opportunities.
