The National SC-ST Hub (NSSH) is a flagship initiative of the Government of India designed to promote entrepreneurship among Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe communities by enabling their effective participation in public procurement and by strengthening their capabilities as micro, small and medium enterprises. The scheme operates under the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and is implemented through the National Small Industries Corporation. It was conceptualized to address long-standing structural barriers faced by SC/ST entrepreneurs, such as lack of access to markets, finance, technology, information, and institutional networks, and to create an enabling ecosystem for their sustainable growth. One of the most significant components under the NSSH is the facilitation of market access through public procurement.
