Education for All (EFA) is a global initiative launched by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in 1990. The goal of EFA is to ensure that all children, youth, and adults have access to quality education, regardless of their gender, socioeconomic status, ethnicity, or location. The initiative aims to promote the right to education and to improve educational opportunities and outcomes for all people.

The EFA goals were revised and expanded in 2000 and again in 2015, to reflect changing global priorities and to address emerging challenges in education. The current EFA goals, known as the Education 2030 Agenda, are guided by the principle of "leaving no one behind" and aim to provide inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all. The Education 2030 Agenda has 10 targets that cover a wide range of issues, from early childhood education to adult literacy, and from teacher training to technical and vocational education and training.
