SRAM (Static Random-Access Memory):
The logic structure of SRAM cells is based on flip-flops, which retain data as long as power is supplied. A typical SRAM cell consists of six transistors (6T) arranged to form a bistable latch. This latch can store one bit of data. The six transistors are arranged as follows:
1. Two cross-coupled inverters: These form the basic bistable latch. Each inverter consists of two transistors, which together create a stable circuit with two stable states, storing the bit of data.
2. Two access transistors: These are connected to the word line and are used to control access to the storage cell during read and write operations. They allow the SRAM cell to connect to the bit lines when the cell is accessed.
