#### Shift Instructions

Shift instructions are used to manipulate data by shifting the bits of an operand to the left or right. These operations are common in various applications, such as bit manipulation, multiplication, and division by powers of two.

Types of Shift Instructions:

1. Logical Shift: Moves bits to the left or right, filling the vacated bit positions with zeros. This does not preserve the sign bit in signed integers.
   - Left Logical Shift (SHL): Shifts all bits in a register or memory location to the left. For example:

     SHL AX, 1
     ```
     If `AX` initially holds the value `0001 1010` (26 in decimal), after the shift, it will hold `0011 0100` (52 in decimal).

   - Right Logical Shift (SHR): Shifts all bits to the right and fills the vacated positions with zeros. For example:
