India has been making efforts towards the promotion of exports for quite some time. The government has set up various institutions to provide technical assistance and guidance to the exporters for the promotion of exports. These institutions provide various services like market research, technology up-gradation, financial assistance, training, and information dissemination to the exporters.

Some of the institutions providing technical services for the promotion of export in India are:

  1. Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT): The DGFT is responsible for implementing the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) of India. It provides assistance and guidance to exporters, importers, and other stakeholders for the promotion of foreign trade.
