Discuss Norma verticalis

When viewed from above the skull is usually oval in shape. It is wider posteriorly than anteriorly. The shape may be more nearly circular.

1. Upper part of the frontal bone anteriorly.
2. Uppermost part of the occipital bone posteriorly.
3. parietal bone on each side.
