### Understanding Existential Import  
In traditional Aristotelian logic, categorical propositions are divided into four standard forms:

3. I-proposition: Particular Affirmative (Some S are P)  
4. O-proposition: Particular Negative (Some S are not P)  

According to traditional logic, a universal proposition (A or E) assumes the existence of the subject. For example, "All dogs are mammals" implies that there are dogs in existence.
