Keyword Indexing is a system of indexing technique which uses the natural language for indexing keywords or significant terms of a title. Significant words are the words which have relatively high correlation with the actual thought contents of the documents. The concept was first given by Andrea Crestadoro in 1864 in the name of Keywordin-Title (KWIT).
