As a daughter of Dalit unchanging laborer, my journey to success has been far from easy. Growing up, I was constantly reminded of my caste and the limitations that came with it. I was told that my place was in the fields, working alongside my parents and that I would never amount to anything more. But I refused to let those voices define my future. I was determined to break the chains of oppression and carve a path for myself, despite the odds.
Growing up, I faced discrimination in every aspect of my life, from education to employment. The schools I attended were subpar, with limited resources and inadequate teachers. My classmates often teased and bullied me for being from a lower caste, making my school days a constant struggle. But through it all, I never lost sight of my goal – to get a good education and build a successful career.
