Erythropoiesis is the set of erythrocyte (red blood cell) production processes in red bone marrow from totipotent hematopoietic stem cells under the dependence of erythropoietin (EPO).

or we can say Erythropoiesis  is the process which produces red blood cells (erythrocytes), which is the development from erythropoietic stem cell to mature red blood cell.
