Dear Mom and Dad,

I hope this letter finds you both in good health and spirits. I wanted to take a moment to describe my room to you, so you can imagine the space where I spend most of my time here.

As you enter the room, the first thing you notice is the bright natural light streaming through the large window on the left. The window is framed by light blue curtains, which I chose because they add a sense of calm to the room. The sunlight, especially in the morning, fills the space and makes it feel fresh and energizing. 

On the wall directly opposite the window, I have a bookshelf that reaches from floor to ceiling. It holds all my books, from textbooks to novels and everything in between. Some of them are organized neatly by genre, while others are stacked more casually. There are a few decorative items on the shelf as well, like a small globe and a few plants that bring some greenery into the space. The plants are easy to care for, and they give the room a little more life and color.
