Extension education is a system of education that aims to bring about desirable changes in the knowledge, attitudes, skills, and behavior of people, especially those living in rural areas. It is mainly concerned with helping individuals and communities improve their standard of living through education, guidance, and practical learning experiences. The philosophy of extension education is based on the belief that people have the ability to improve their own lives when they are given proper knowledge, opportunities, and encouragement. It focuses on helping people help themselves rather than simply providing assistance or imposing decisions on them. Extension education emphasizes democratic values, participation, and the practical application of scientific knowledge in everyday life. The philosophy of extension education is deeply rooted in the concept of human development and social progress. It believes that education should not be limited to schools and classrooms but should continue throughout life. People learn continuously through experience, observation, and participation in community activities. Extension education therefore acts as a bridge between scientific research and the people who need to apply that knowledge in their daily work and life. It ensures that useful discoveries, especially in agriculture, health, and rural development, reach the grassroots level and benefit the community. Another important aspect of the philosophy of extension education is respect for the dignity and individuality of every person. It recognizes that each individual has unique experiences, needs, and abilities. Therefore, extension workers must understand the local culture, traditions, and social conditions before introducing any new ideas or practices. The aim is not to force change but to encourage people to adopt improved practices willingly after understanding their benefits. Extension education promotes learning by doing, which means __________ ____ _______ ____ _______ ________ ________ ___ _____ ___ ________.
