Social skills represent constituent behaviours whichwhen combined in appropriate sequences and used with others in appropriateways and places enables an individual to have success in daily living reflectedby social competence. Social competence can be definedas the ability to achieve legitimate personal goals through interacting with othersin all situations: work, school, recreation, shopping, consumer services, medicaland mental care and legal agencies.
Thus, social skill training are heterogeneous intervention aimed at improvingactivities of daily living, hygiene and grooming, basic communication skills,job-finding, and inter personal problem solving, that is improving socialcompetence.
