The different fields of case work practice are: 

• Working with individuals.

•  Organizations working with differently abled.

• Organizations working with Women.

Working with individuals:

Person who is in interaction with his social environment which influence his environment in a number of ways. These factors show how and why clients react differently to the problems concerned.

Some of these factors are:

• Age: Needs, concern, problems and difficulties are invariably different from the young elderly person. Specific age group looks and feels about the situation under study and how it may differ from the other person. .
• Sex: Experiences and conditions of male and female in society are pre determined. Status in society, division of tasks, role expectation, role transitions affect men and women differently. Stereotypical image and roles tend to become oppressive.
• Caste: Caste discrimination affects individuals and family across age and sex divisions and in this female suffer most. Low status leads to low class results because of low status, oppression, lack of opportunity, depression, etc.
• Class: Low income group individual belongs to determine life goals and motivation for striving for change. Outlook towards life and problems are likely to affect to people belonging to lower income groups, Middle income groups and affluent g rou PS.
• Religion: In pluralistic terms India belongs to minority group religion. Religion has a very important place in the life of persons of India. Religious beliefs, customs and moral values hold very important and indispensable place. . Region: People who belong to rural, urban and tribal areas demonstrate response pattern of life. People living in small towns, village, metro cities are exposed to different stimuli and their life experiences are also different from one another.
