The Indian judicial system is organized into three levels: the Supreme Court, the High Courts, and the lower courts.

The Supreme Court is the highest court of appeal in the country and is located in the capital, New Delhi. It is made up of a Chief Justice and 25 other judges. The Supreme Court has original, appellate, and advisory jurisdiction. It has the power to hear appeals from the High Courts and to issue writs for the enforcement of fundamental rights.

The High Courts are located in each state capital and are the highest courts in each state. They are made up of a Chief Justice and several other judges. The High Courts have original, appellate, and supervisory jurisdiction over the lower courts in their respective states.

The lower courts consist of the District Courts and the lower courts at the Tehsil level. They are located in each district and are responsible for hearing cases at the trial level. They are also responsible for enforcing the orders and decrees of the High Courts and the Supreme Court.
