a) Structure of Skeletal Muscle:

Skeletal muscle is a type of muscle tissue that is attached to bones and allows for voluntary movements. It is composed of long, cylindrical cells called muscle fibers or myofibers. These muscle fibers are organized into bundles known as fascicles, which are surrounded by connective tissue called perimysium. The entire muscle is covered by another layer of connective tissue called epimysium.

At a microscopic level, skeletal muscle fibers are composed of myofibrils, which are contractile units responsible for muscle contraction. Each myofibril consists of repeating units called sarcomeres, which are the functional units of muscle contraction.
