In a vast and diverse country like India, where geographical, social, economic, and cultural barriers often limit access to formal education, distance education plays a vital role in democratizing learning. The philosophy of distance education is rooted in the idea of providing flexible, accessible, and learner-centered education to all individuals regardless of their age, occupation, or location.
