BLEP-001: Project Dear learner in this course you have to write a project in about 4000 words on any one of the topics given below and send it to the Project Section, Student Evaluation Division, IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi-110068. Before writing the project read carefully the Project Guide BLEP-001 sent to you along with the study material. Please also read the following paragraphs carefully. Organised the project into various chapters and chapter into sections. The chapter 1 mainly consists of introduction to the subject, objectives of the study, scope of the study methodology of collecting data etc. The last chapter should include the findings of the study and suggestions if any. For writing this project, we suggest that you should go to nearby law library. You can find these libraries in the law colleges, bar associations of codes etc. Some good advocates also maintain such libraries. In these libraries you will find the act, commentaries, digests journals etc. The important journals are: All India Reporter (AIR) Supreme court cases (SCC) etc. There a number of online journals also such as Manupatra, SCC online etc. There are number of website such as indiacode.nic.in where you can find all the acts of parliament. The journals contain the full judgments of the Supreme Court and High Courts. on the basis of headnotes given in the beginning of the judgment, you can short list them according to the theme of your project. Afterwards read these selected judgments carefully and while reading them prepare a brief note on the facts and arguments on which the judgments is based. In the project we expect you to present an original analysis of the judgments.
