1) Discuss the objectives and advantages of management accounting.

2) Two articles X and Y are manufactured in a department. Their specifications show that 2 X's or 8 Y's can be produced in one hour. The budgeted production for June, 2019 is 200 X's and 400 Y's. The actual production at the end of the month was 250 X's and 480 Y's and the actual hours spent on this production were 160. Find out the capacity, activity and efficiency ratios for June 2019. Also find out the calendar ratio if the actual working days during the month be 27 corresponding to 25 days in the budget.

3) A company has decided to introduce a system of standard costing. What are the preliminaries to be considered before developing such a system? Explain.

4) The following information is supplied to you: Standard time for a month: 4000 Hours Standard wage rate: Rs. 2.25 per hour Number of labourers employed: 30 Average working days in a month: 25 No. of hours a worker works per day: 7 hours Total wage bill in a month: Rs. 13,125 Idle time due to power failure: 100 hours You are required to calculate the following: a) Labour Cost Variance b) Labour Rate Variance c) Labour Efficiency Variance d) Labour Idle Time Variance.

5) Explain how the variance analysis relating to overheads differ from that relating to material and labour?

2. बजटिंग की एक सुदृढ़ प्रणाली के क्या मूल तत्व हैं? विवेचन कीजिए।

3. एक कंपनी ने मानक लागत लेखांकन पद्धति अपनाने का निश्चय किया है। इस पद्धति के विकास के लिए कौन कौन सी प्राथमिकतायें ध्यान देने योग्य हैं? व्याख्या कीजिये । 

4. निम्नलिखित विवरण के आधार पर प्रत्यक्ष सामग्री लागत विचरण की गणना कीजिए:

2. दो बातुएँ X और Y एक विभाग में निर्मित की जाती हैं। उनके विनिर्देश (Specifications) दशति हैं कि 1 घंटे में 2 X या 8 Y बनाए जा सकते हैं। जून 2019 के लिए बजट उत्पादन 200 X और 400 Y है। महीने के अंत में बास्तबिक उत्पादन 250 X और 480 Y था, और इस उत्पादन में 160 घंटे का समय (10)

जून 2019 के लिए क्षमता अनुपात, गतिविधि अनुपात और दक्षता अनुपात निकालिए। यदि बजट कार्य दिवस 25 हों और बास्तबिक कार्य दिवस 27 हों, तो कैलेंडर अनुपात भी ज्ञात कीजिए
