Assignment One

Answer the following questions in about 500 words each. Each question carries 20 marks.

1. Examine the psychological and cultural factors contributing to schizophrenia, along with an explanation of the diathesis-stress model associated with its development.

2. Discuss Cluster A personality disorders, highlighting their causes and treatment approaches.

Assignment Two

Answer the following questions in about 100 words each. Each question carries 5 marks.

3. Explain unipolar mood disorders.

4. What is normal sexuality?

5. Explain the Indian perspective on mental health and treatment.

6. What are the ethical issues in psychotherapy?

7. Describe the features of short term psychotherapy.

8. What are the potentials and limitations of behavior modification?

Activity 1: Compare between Humanistic and Existential therapies on the basis of the structure of the therapy, goals, therapeutic relationship and techniques. 

Activity 2: Take any one unit of your choice from BPCC113 and write a review of the same in about 1000 words. The review needs to be in your own words and should cover the important as-pects of the unit.

निम्नलिखित वर्णनात्मक श्रेणी के प्रत्येक प्रश्नों के उत्तर लगभग 500 शब्दों में दीजिए। प्रत्येक प्रश्न के लिए 20 अंक नियत है।

1. मनोविदलता में योगदान देने वाले मनोवैज्ञानिक और सांस्कृतिक कारकों का परीक्षण कीजिए, साथ ही इसके विकास से जुड़े प्रणवता-तनाव मॉडल की व्याख्या भी कीजिए।

2. क्लस्टर अ व्यक्तित्व विकारों पर चर्चा करें, उनके कारणों और उपचार विधियों पर प्रकाश डालें।
