Answer the following in about 500 words each.
1) Who were the satavahanas? Discuss the Satavahanas with reference to Gautamiputra Satkarni.
2) Write a note on over-land trade routes is India during 200 BCE to 300 CE.
Assignment - II
Answer the following questions in about 250 words each.
3) Discuss the efforts made by Samudragupta for the expansion of Gupta Empire.
4) Write a short note on the conflict between Harsha and Pulakesin II.
5) Write short notes on any two of the following:
a) Junagardh rock inscription.
b) Skandagupta
c) The Pallavas
d) The Maukharies of Kanauj.

1) सातवाहन कौन थे? गौतमीपुत्र शातकर्णी के संदर्भ में सातवाहनों पर चर्चा कीजिए।
2) 200 बी.सी.ई. से 300 सी.ई. के बीच भारत के स्थल व्यापार मार्गों पर एक नोट लिखिए।

3) गुप्त साम्राज्य के विस्तार के लिए समुद्रगुप्त द्वारा किये गये प्रयासों की चर्चा कीजिए।
