(b) The conductivity of a saturated solution of AgCl at 298 K was found to be 3.41 x 10'S cm 1. The water used for dissolving AgCl had a conductivity of 1.6 x 10'S cm. If the molar conductivity at infinite dilution for AgCl at 298 K is given as 138.2 S cm mol, calculate the solubility product of AgCl at 298 Κ.

8.(a) Describe the moving boundary method for the determination of transference numbers.

(b) In the determination of transference numbers of HCI by moving boundary method a 0.10 M solution of HCI was taken in a cell having uniform area of cross section of 1.0 cm². At the end of experiment the boundary moved by 10.3 cm and 0.132 g of silver was deposited on the cathode of silver coulometer. Calculate the transference numbers of ions of HCI.

9.(a) Outline the requirements for the construction of concentration cells without transference.

(b)The cell reaction for a galvanic cell is given below: Cu(s) + 2Ag (aq) →Cu(aq) + 2Ag(s)

(i) Write the half-cell reactions at the anode and the cathode.

(ii) Calculate the value of cell emf under standard conditions by using the data from Table 7.1.

(iii) Will the reaction be spontaneous as written?

भाग-(क)

1. गैसों की विलेयता पर दाब के प्रभाव की चर्चा कीजिए। हेनरी स्थिरांक किस प्रकार निर्धारित किया जाता है?

2. (क) निकोटिन-जल तंत्र के लिए पारस्परिक विलेयता वक्र आरेखित कीजिए और उसकी व्याख्या कीजिए। ऐसा कौन-सा एक अन्य तंत्र है जो ऐसा ही वक्र दर्शाता है?

3. (क) संयुग्मी विलयन क्या होते हैं? उनका एक उदाहरण दीजिए।

(ख) मितस्थायी साम्य को परिभाषित कीजिए तथा सत्य साम्य से इसका अंतर स्पष्ट कीजिए।

4. निम्नलिखित में से किन्हीं पांच की परिभाषा दीजिए।

(i) घटक

(ii) मोल अंश 

(iii) अधूरा पिघलना 

(iv) द्रव जंक्शन क्षमता 

(v) आयनिक गतिशीलता 

(vi) चालकतामितीय अनुमापन

5. (क) गिब्स के प्रावस्था नियम का गणितीय व्यंजक लिखिए तथा किसी एकल-घटक तंत्र के लिए एक साथ विद्यमान हो सकने वाली प्रावस्थाओं की अधिकतम संख्या को परिकलित कीजिए

(ख) सल्फर तंत्र के लिए प्रावस्था आरेख बनाएं तथा एकनताक्ष सल्फर के लिए ऊर्ध्वपातन तथा संगलन वक्रों को उस परदर्शाएं।

6. (क) किसी शुद्ध पदार्थ के लिए equation और T के बीच वक्र दाब में परिवर्तन से किस प्रकार प्रभावित μ होता है? इसे दर्शाते हुए एक व्यवस्थात्मक चित्र बनाएं। 

(ख) दो पदार्थ X तथा Y एक सरल यूटेक्टिक तंत्र बनाते हैं। X का गलनांक Y के गलनांक की तुलना में अधिक हैं तथा 40% X वाला X व Y का मिश्रण, यूटेक्टिक मिश्रण बनाता है जिसका गलनांक 512 K है। इस जानकारी के आधार पर तंत्र के लिए प्रावस्था आरेख का उपयुक्त नामांकित व्यवस्थात्मक चित्र बनाइए। 

7. (क) एक प्रबल विद्युत्-अपघट्य के लिए मोलर चालकता की सांद्रता पर निर्भरता की व्याख्या कीजिए।

(ख) 298 K पर AgCl के संतृप्त विलयन की चालकता 3.41 x 10-6 cm-1 पाई गई। AgCl को घोलनें में प्रयुक्त जल की चालकता 1.06 x 10-6 cm-1 थी। यदि 298 K पर AgCl के लिए अनंत तनुता पर मोलर चालकता 138.2 S cm-1  है तो 298 K पर AgCl का विलेयता गुणनफल परिकलित कीजिए।

8. (क) अभिगमनांकों के निर्धारण की चल-सीमाविधि का विवरण दीजिए।

(ख) चल-सीमाविधि द्वारा HCI के अभिगमनांकों के निर्धारण के लिए HCI के 0.10 M विलयन को सेल में लिया गया जिसकी अनुप्रस्थ काट क्षेत्रफल 1.0 cm2 था। प्रयोग के अंत में सीमा ने 10.3 cm सीएम की दूरी तय की तथा कूलॉमीटर के कैथोड़ पर 0.132 g सिल्वर निक्षेपित हुआ। HCI के आयनों के अभिगमनांक परिकलित कीजिए। 

9. (क) अभिगमन रहित सांद्रता सेलों के विनिर्माण की आवश्यकताओं को बताइए।

(ख) एक गैल्वैनी सेल की सेल अभिक्रिया नीचे दी गई है:

Cu(s) + 2Ag+(aq) →Cu²+(aq) + 2Ag(s)

(i) ऐनोड़ तथा कैथोड़ पर होनेवाली अर्ध-सेल अभिक्रियाएं लिखें।

(ii) सारणी 7.1 में दिए डाटा के आधार पर मानक अवस्थाओं में सेल emf का मान परिकलित कीजिए। 

(iii) क्या ऊपर लिखी सेल अभिक्रिया स्वतः होगी ? 

10. (क) विद्युत अपघटन को परिभाषित कीजिए तथा इसके किसी एक अनुप्रयोग की चर्चा कीजिए।

(ख) 5g मैग्नीशियम प्राप्त करने के लिए द्रवित मैग्नीशियम क्लोराइड में कितने समय तक 0.65 A की विद्युत् धारा को प्रवाहित करना होगा?

11. आप किसी उचित ऐल्किल हैलाइड से आरंभ करके 2-मेथिलपेन्टेनोइक अम्ल किस प्रकार प्राप्त कर सकते हैं? इसमें निहित अभिक्रियाओं के क्रम को लिखिए।

12. (क) यदि आपको पेन्टेनोइक अम्ल प्राप्त करना हो तो आप किस ऐल्किल हैलाइड का उपयोग करेंगे? संश्लेषण में निहित अभिक्रियाओं को भी दीजिएब

(ख) एथेनाइक अम्ल और अमोनिया के उपयोग द्वारा ऐमाइड बनने की क्रियाविधि लिखिए।

13. (क) विपक्ष एस्टरीकरण क्या होता है? उचित उदाहरण द्वारा संक्षेप में व्याख्या कीजिए।

(ख) जब प्रोपिल ब्यूटेनोऐट को बूवो-ब्लांक अपचयन द्वारा अपचयित किया जाता है तो प्राप्त उत्पाद बताइए। ऐसा अन्य कौन-सा अभिकर्मक है जिसके उपयोग द्वारा समान उत्पाद प्राप्त होते हैं?

14. (क) उचित चित्र के उपयोग द्वारा N-मेथिलएथेनैमीन के ऐनैन्टिओमरो के अंतरारूपांतरण की व्याख्या कीजिए। 

(ख) व्याख्या कीजिए कि बेन्जीनैमीन में उपस्थित C-N आबंध ऐलिफैटिक ऐमीनों में उपस्थित सी-न आबंध से छोटा क्यों होता है? 

15. (क) ऐल्किल डाइऐजोनियम लवण और ऐरिल डाइऐजोनियम लवण में से कौन-सा अधिक स्थायी है? व्याख्या कीजिए।

(ख) आप 4-मेथिलबेन्जीनैमीन से आरंभ करके 4-मेथिलबाइफेनिल किस प्रकार प्राप्त कर सकते हैं? निहित अभिक्रियाओं को भी लिखिए।

16.( क) किसी 2-ऐमीनो अम्ल की उभयाविष्ट प्रकृति तथा समविभव बिंदु की व्याख्या कीजिए।

(ख) 2-ऐमीनो अम्लों की निनहाइड्रिन अभिक्रिया के रसायन और उसके महत्व की चर्चा कीजिए।

17. थैलॉयल समूह के उपयोग द्वारा ऐमीनों अम्लों के न-रक्षण तथा विरक्षण की चर्चा कीजिए। 

18.उचित अभिक्रियाएं देते हुए पेप्टाइडों के न-सिरे की पहचान के लिए सैंगर विधि की व्याख्या कीजिए।
