National Rural Livelihoods Mission

The National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM) aims to enhance the livelihoods of rural poor by promoting self-employment and organization of rural households into self-help groups (SHGs). Launched in 2011 by the Ministry of Rural Development, NRLM focuses on providing skill development, access to financial services, and the creation of sustainable livelihood opportunities.
