Jan Aushadhi Kendras, also known as Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Kendras (PMBJK), are a chain of retail pharmacies established by the Government of India. These pharmacies provide generic medicines at affordable prices to the general public, especially to those who cannot afford expensive branded medicines.

The Jan Aushadhi Kendras scheme was launched in 2008 under the name "Jan Aushadhi Campaign" by the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India. The main objective of this scheme was to provide quality generic medicines at affordable prices to the masses.

Initially, the scheme started with just a few Jan Aushadhi Kendras, but it has now expanded to over 7,000 Kendras across India. These Kendras are spread across different regions and serve as a one-stop-shop for all generic medicines. They also provide various healthcare products and medical devices at reasonable prices.
