Dissolution of Partnership refers to the termination of the partnership relationship between the partners. This happens when the partners decide to cease their business operations together, either voluntarily or involuntarily. It implies that the partnership no longer exists, but the firm itself may still continue to operate if there is an agreement to carry on the business by the remaining partners or a new partner enters. The dissolution of a partnership does not automatically result in the dissolution of the firm.
