Environmental planning is a process of identifying, assessing and coming up with solutions to environmental issues. The goal of environmental planning is to improve the quality of the environment and the health and welfare of people.  

Steps involved in the Environmental Planning Process are -

i) Establishing Development Objectives The general objectives of developing tourism must be decided as a basis for planning. These must necessarily be preliminary until they are determined as realistically compatible with one other.
