To conduct a survey of pregnant and lactating women regarding their dietary habits and nutrition practices, I interviewed 10 women in my locality. The survey focused on understanding their eating practices during pregnancy and lactation, their meal frequency, the types of foods they consume, foods they avoid, and the overall quality of their diet. The findings revealed a mixture of healthy and faulty eating practices related to maternal nutrition.

During pregnancy, many of the women reported an increased awareness of the importance of a balanced diet. A majority of the women consumed a variety of foods, including fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and proteins such as legumes, dairy, and lean meats. These foods were said to help meet the increased nutritional demands during pregnancy.
